Install disk doesn't work

Hangs at downloading packages.  Can someone help me understand the install disk a little more?  Like, when it says "see output in /dev/tty5", how do I do that?  I'm thinking it may not be loading the correct ethernet driver.

You can switch between consoles using alt+f1 to alt-f5 - so tty5 would be alt+f5.
Try using the base install CD and install packages from CD.  There was a change to repo structure recently so the FTP install might not work properly.

If you really want to use ftp install and want to help test future iso release give: http://www.archlinux.org/~tpowa/rc-iso/ a try. There is the latest rc iso with the repo shuffle trouble fixed.
