[SOLVED] skype: fluxbox freeze when opening a chat window

Hi there,

since last upgrade skype(1.4.0.118-1) under fluxbox freezes the entire system when opening a chat window. In gnome everything works very well. Somewhere I read, that might be a problem with qt4. the previous dynamic release also freezes, but the static version was ok. Now both versions completely lock up the sytem.

I downgraded to 1.4.0.99-1 static, but that can only be temporary. Maybe some of you may help me or point me in the right direction.

nevermind, this is fixed in the new fluxbox release (1.0.0)

I still have this problem.
I have the latest fluxbox and skype packages. Both static and dynamic skype releases freeze my entire desktop on opening a chat window.

Ok, I created a new package from fluxbox 1.0.0 and it solved the issue.
Any idea when the new fluxbox release will be in extra ?
