not found in sync db

I'm following the http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beg … figuring_X when trying to install xorg I get

error: 'xorg-xkb-utils': not found in sync db

When I refer to the Pacman Wiki I find no reference on how to resolve errors such as this.

That error means it's not finding the package in your pacman database.  Try checking the following:

1) xorg-xkb-utils is in the extra repository, so check /etc/pacman.conf and make sure you've got a section similar to this in it somewhere. 

[extra]
# Add your preferred servers here, they will be used first
Include = /etc/pacman.d/extra

2) Make sure there's at least one "Server =" line in /etc/pacman.d/extra that is uncommented.

3) Make sure you've ran a 'pacman -Sy' to sync your pacman database.
