No idea what is up, started after changing repos [mirrors]

Is there way to clean or update databases?

It looks like you changed to a really outdated mirror. Change to another...

Well I used rankmirrors so extra may be the problem .....

Yesterday evening was a big move from testing to extra (gnome,x11,etc.). Your mirror is out of date. Wait until he is in sync or change your mirror. With the extra repo is everything alright.

I don't think this is because of the big move. Evince hasn't been version than version v0.8.3 for several weeks. I would get rid of the top entry of in your mirror list.

Got a massive upgrade now .... will report back when its done

There have been other reports about the UK mirror not updating. Try heanet or belnet, they're always good IME.

Also, someone said they were going to contact Kent about setting up an Arch mirror - it's in the forum somewhere, so you might like to see if anything happened with that.

so what happened to the updates ? they are not on ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/extra/os/i686.
I now have them from some czech mirror, but just wondering...

All done ... no errors just a bad mirror .... fonts are out of whack now but that off topic
