Can anyone make this PKGBUILD?

I think, is easier to just download it chmod +x it and ./EQTW... it as user, very clean, easy, and all is installed in user base only. It runs great here. I might buy it when it comes out, if I really learn it, since it has a very steep learning curve.

I think it's more easy and clean to use an pkgbuild.

I'm downloading the linux demo now, I don't know what kind of installer it is but I can take a look into it.
Does somebody know if there is gonna be a linux retail version of this game? Or just linux binaries.

The retail package will only contain windows binaries; they're not going to re-master the disc after the completion of the OSX and Linux editions.

I have downloaded the linux demo. It's a text installer and works very well, if you install just in your home directory. Client runs and you can play via internet. But I don't have test it further, I'm not a gamer.
Creating a PKGBUILD is a overkill for such a demo. The installation routine is too easy....and for uninstalling, just remove the directory of the game.

Thanks, they wouldn't listen to me. As I said before install as user and everything installs in one home folder. No mess, and everything is clean. Now what I need is to find a way to make the stock kernel run in 1000hz which is a requirement for the game.

It isn't an requirement, it's a recommendation. It has work in full details with the stock kernel on my comoputer.
But if you want to change it. Grab the PKGBUILDs and patches from CVS, change in the file "config" or "config.x86_64" the timer to 1000hz. That's all. Build the kernel with "makepkg" and install the newly created package.
