extra/Gnome 2.20-1 Application menu is empty!!!!

Hi..
I just installed "pacman -Syu gnome gnome-extra" (Gnome 2.20) and the menu "Applications" is empty ..
Does anyone have any idea that it can be?

I had the same thing. Putting the following in /etc/profile helped me:

export XDG_DATA_DIRS=/usr/share
export XDG_CONFIG_DIRS=/etc/xdg

Just install "libx11". The solution mentioned by Noneus is already there. It installs a file called /etc/profile.d/xorg.sh with the right exports.
