System beep?

Hi,

I am XFCE user.

Two or three days ago, I updated archlinux.
I do not change gdm configuration.
But, after I updated arch, I got system beep when I restart or shutdown my arch.
After XFCE session start, I do not get system beep, because I use "xset b off" command.

I do not know what is changed and what is needed..

regards.

Re: System beep?

Don't know what changed but putting MOD_BLACKLIST=(pcspkr) in /etc/rc.conf fixes it (disables beep completely...)

Re: System beep?

That was actually in the Arch install guide.  I mostly use google or the Arch wiki to soslve problems.
