conky as dock app?

Does anyone know if it possible to run conky as a dock app? I would like to use conky as my monitor app with my ion3 setup, but I want to dock it so I can toggle its visibility. To dock it I need to have conky give the wm the dock app hint, but in the documentation I saw no way of doing this.
