fluxbox tabs anf firefox

I want to auto group firefox windows in fluxbox so i edited my ./fluxbox/groups file as following:

firefox
roxterm
thunar

Except for firefox, thunar and roxterm are grouping automatically. What changes should i make, i even tried firefox-bin.

The apps file editing seems to be too complicated, howto also states that the groups file is deprecated.

Maybe you can try and edit your group file like this:

firefox-bin roxterm thunar

Don't know if that will work though.

It didn't work, it requires single entry per row.

shot in the dark here, but maybe a full path to the firefox executable?

I will try and let you know. But the fluxbox doc states that groups file should have instance name.
