I just updated my kernel and NVIDIA drivers last night, and now X won't start. I get this error:
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Need libwfb but wfbScreenInit not found
I am running a 8800GTS and I found this website mentioning something that could be related:
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=95365
I haven't had time to check the solution yet, but I thought I'd let everyone know just in case they run into similar problems.

Yeah, I have that exact same problem. Upgraded last night, and I couldn't start X. Just don't have time to fix it at the moment.

Here is the fix. I guess the dev will have to fix this up...

Look at the posting for heldal and hymntolife....
This is a better fix than disabling the NVIDIA drivers.

Delete libwfbso and instal the latest 100.14.23 drivers. They work better then 100.14.19 anyway.

Speaking of nVidia 100.14.23, I made two packages (nvidia-utils & nvidia) of the 100.14.23 (based on the 100.14.19 PKGBUILDs) and so far for a week they have been working flawlessly with kernel 2.6.23, Xorg 7.2, Gnome 2.20 and Compiz-Fusion-Git, in both architectures (x86_64, i686). Cards tested is a PCI-e 6800GT and an AGP 6600GT.
