I just installed Arch Linux using FTP quickinstaller...
I can pacman things, such as xorg and nvidia drivers... xfce4 etc...
But when it comes to running startx, theres a no go?
I have no idea why it doesn't exist? I should be able to
$ cat /usr/bin/startx
cat: /usr/bin/starx: No such file or directory
$

startx is in the "xorg-xinit" package.
And if the output from you command above was cut and paste, you have bigger problems!

pacman -S xorg-xinit
I usually install xorg with something like 'pacman -S xorg xorg-server xorg-server xf86-video-MYCARD xf86-input-mouse xf86-input-keyboard libgl-dri
You may not need them all depending on your card, or need some others
[edit] lol, allan is a bit faster than me

Excellent, fixed the problem strait away. Looks like I did need a few other packages too for mouse and keyboard.
Now I just need to configure fvwm.
By the way, I'd say they were both REALLY fast replies!
