[SOLVED] Kernel upgrade -> wrong dpi size in X org 7.2 Xinerama

Solved: after the upgrade to 2.6.23.1-6 the problem does no longer exists... weird smile

I have a weird problem with the dpi size in X 7.2 if I upgrade from kernel 2.6.22.9-1 to 2.6.23.1-4. I run Xinerama.

Output from xdpyinfo in 2.6.22.9-1

screen #0:
  print screen:    no
  dimensions:    2960x1050 pixels (783x278 millimeters)
  resolution:    96x96 dots per inch

First screen in /var/log/Xorg.0.log in 2.6.22.9-1

(**) I810(0): *Built-in mode "1280x800"
(==) I810(0): DPI set to (96, 96)

Second screen in /var/log/Xorg.0.log in 2.6.22.9-1

(**) I810(1): Display dimensions: (430, 270) mm
(**) I810(1): DPI set to (99, 98)

Output from xdpyinfo in 2.6.23.1-4

screen #0:
  print screen:    no
  dimensions:    2960x1050 pixels (1001x355 millimeters)
  resolution:    75x75 dots per inch

First screen in /var/log/Xorg.0.log in 2.6.23.1-4

(**) I810(0): *Built-in mode "1280x800"
(**) I810(0): Display dimensions: (430, 270) mm
(**) I810(0): DPI set to (75, 75)

Second screen in /var/log/Xorg.0.log in 2.6.23.1-4

(**) I810(1): *Built-in mode "1680x1050_60"
(II) I810(1): Attempting to use 59.93Hz refresh for mode "1680x1050_60" (852)
(==) I810(1): DPI set to (96, 96)

Now if I set the font in X to size that looks on in 2.6.23 and I switch to single screen serverlayout in xorg.conf the fonts are way to big. In 2.6.22 the fonts are the same size in Xinerama layout and single serverlayout.
