Openbox themes - how to?

Hey,

I was just wondering how to load those themes to openbox? Found default themes in /usr/share/themes, so i tar'ed out some of my downloaded themes to that dir and using Obconf tried to load.. Well no luck.. Even some of the default themes aren't shown in Obconf.. Tried creating ~/.themes and putting some themes there, but no luck too.. Any ideas would be appreciated smile

Re: Openbox themes - how to?

Well, it sounds like you're putting them in the right place...

For personal use, extract the theme files to ~/.themes
For system-wide access, put them in /usr/share/themes

Some packages may place the actual theme folder inside another folder, in which case they won't work.  The folder hierarchy should look like this:

~/.themes/TropicBomb/openbox-3/themerc

That is, the themerc file should be only 2 levels down from ~/.themes
