Any idea when Kernel 2.6.24 will be available through pacman??

There's supposedly some fan-speed drivers in it (for sensors-detect)

Thanks,
Jim

It will be a while.  2.6.23 was released only recently and it'll probably take a couple of months before 2.6.24 is released.  If you really need it there is rc1 version of 2.6.24 available on kernel.org, but you'd need to compile it from source yourself...

Keep an eye on [testing] and arch-dev-public, tpowa will package up some of the rc's later in the cycle.

[andyrtr@workstation64 ~]$ uname -a
Linux workstation64 2.6.24-rc1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Oct 31 11:30:37 CET 2007 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU @ 2.40GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

x86_64 packages are available in tpowa's public_html dir.
