Where does kpowersave state what governor to chose when you select cpu scaling principle from the dropdown box?
When I select 'Dynamic' kpowersave loads the Ondemand governor. I don't want it because it is too edgy and rushes up the CPU to full blast even for scrolling down a page. I want Conservative. Is there any way to make the Dynamic selection start the Conservative governor instead of the Ondemand?
Or alternatively, can it fixed so that kpowersave doesn't override the cpufreq daemon? I mean, that way I would be able to chose the Conservative governor by stating so in /etc/conf.d/cpufreq.

Problem solved. Kind of. I blacklisted the ondemand governor in /etc/rc.conf. Then kpowersave chose the userspace governor for 'Dynamic' instead. So I blacklisted that one as well. Now I have conservative. I wish there would be a more direct way to make the selection, but it doesn't seem like it.
