Strange video playback behaviour

Good evening,

since some updates of the nvidia-package (I think it first occured when updating to 100.x-series of the driver), I have a problem occuring at an irregular basis. Normally I pause the video and after one or two seconds the picture morphs into a green screen with coloured dots randomly moving around while there should actually be a video being played back. It has nothing to do with the video itself, after a restart of X it plays back properly - but after some time it randomly reoccurs, no matter what video file I play back (or what format it is).

Anyone having similar problems so far? I would be grateful to know if there is a way to fix it.

hard facts about the system:
nVidia GeForce 6200 TC

local/nvidia 100.14.19-3
    NVIDIA drivers for kernel26.

Re: Strange video playback behaviour

Just wanted to add that I have been experiencing this same behavior. Hopefully we kind get this straightened out. Thanks.
