pacman installation message

is it possible to view installation time messages and instructions of a package later. Why i need this is because since the last full system update my external mouse has stopped working. Among the packages updated there was xf86-input-mouse and during installation it gave some instructions for external mouse.

those msgs are kept in  /var/log/pacman.log

They are of course also in the packages (.INSTALL) and in /var/lib/pacman/local/<package>/install.
