Hi there, just to let you know it is possible to use java within the webbrowser!
Ok not in mozilla or phoenix, but still. Download and install Java (IBM, blackdown or Sun) fire up konquerer (kdebase) and point the java executable to the right file. That's all
Just tried on of my fav. sites with java and no complains what so ever! Hopefully the KDE team imports the fixes and speedups made by the Apple team soon.
Does anybody know if there are other browser who use java this way?
apt-get install arch

well apparently the trick to getting it to work in other browsers is to symbolically link the plugins to the plugins in the main java directory. mind you i have not tried this yet but that is essentially what you just did for konq.

I bought a dog the other day...I named him Stay. It's fun to call him... "Come here, Stay! Come here, Stay!" He went insane. Now he just ignores me and drools.
