I have a new laptop that I'm trying to connect to my wireless network. I'm using XFCE and wanted to use wifi-radar as a sort of front end rather than Network Manager which has been flaky for me at best. I've enabled the community repository in pacman.conf but can't install it with either pacman or yaourt. Has it been taken out of the repos or something?
#pacman -S wifi-radar
error: 'wifi-radar': not found in sync db
#pacman -Ss wifi

You have not enabled community correctly in pacman.conf. It should look like this:
[community]
Include = /etc/pacman.d/community
Both lines need to be uncommented.

They both are. There's a commented line in between them but besides that, my entry's the exact same as yours.

In that case, you haven't synced since enabling it. pacman -Sy wifi-radar will sort you out.

I could have sworn I did that. Anyways, that did the trick. Thanks.
