hi.
hi. i just run pacman -Syu and it installed a new xorg-server (1.4-5) but i got that message after the installation of the package:
":: Another libwfb has been detected."

what is that suppose to mean ? it was even not translated in my default language

is it good ? is it bad ?

You can ignore it - you're using nvidia-utils and this is expected.

It would be nice if the message was more informative, I was also worried about it and had to check the .install file to understand what it was even about and to make sure nothing was wrong. Perhaps it could say "Using libwfb provided by Nvidia instead of X.org implementation" or something similiar.

ah ok
i didn't think to look at the install file because i thought it was an embeded message of pacman.

when i saw the code in the install file it made things a little clearer.
so the new xorg-server rely on a libwfb being in place ?
