[SOLVED] Codecs problem

Hi all,

After a recent 'pacman -Syu' I noticed that the codecs-package was upgraded. Fine, I think, but not when I try to play my favorite radio station. After issueing 'mplayer http://wwoz-wm.streamguys.org' (which worked before) I get

Win32 LoadLibrary failed to load: avisynth.dll, /usr/lib/codecs/avisynth.dll, /usr/lib/win32/avisynth.dll, /usr/local/lib/win32/avisynth.dll

Exiting... (End of file)

I searched the forums for this file (which isn't on my system), but couldn't find a solution.

Marcel

Re: [SOLVED] Codecs problem

That is a common error when mplayer has trouble playing something.

Did you check the link for the stream?  If you click on it you get an apache test page, so the problem lies at their end or you have the wrong URL.

Re: [SOLVED] Codecs problem

Ah, that's it! Well, because codecs was updated, I thought the problem was related to that package. And it must be the correct URL, it worked beforehand (and I checked the site to see if it is changed, but no).

Thanks anyway!

EDIT: Hmm, I've been ill last days, so that's probably why I mistyped the URL. it should be 'http://wwoz-wm.streamguys.com/wwoz'.
That also doesn't work, but mplayer gives me a more obvious explanation:

Server returned 500:Internal Server Error
