Permissions when copying from USB stick.

Hi all.

Every time I copy stuff from my USB stick or CF card reader to hdd, I have to chmod -x all the copied files. (Because of FAT32 on the USB stick/CF card).
Is there some udev/HAL rules trickery that can remedy this?

Thanks.

Re: Permissions when copying from USB stick.

No idea about udev/hal/pmount, but I use 'dmask=077,fmask=177' in /etc/fstab for vfat partitions; man mount.
