Hi ,
I'd like to switch from Gnome to KDE on my laptop. So far everything runs fine, but there is one problem.
In Gnome I configured, that if I close the lid of the laptop it will go to standby. I checked this Wiki http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pm- … d_manually and created my own hook, that /etc/rc.d/networkmanager gets restarted after resuming.
This was necessary because otherwise networkmanager did not connect automatically to my WLAN after resuming.
This does not work in KDE. I have to restart the service manually so that knetworkmanager finds and connects to the network. What is KDE using for standy? Does it not use pm-utils?
What can I do? Thanks.
