[SOLVED] Reinstallation of GRUB

Moved my partition from /dev/sda3 to /dev/sda1. I need to now reinstall grub.

I go into my liveCD and have tried everything, mounting /dev/sda1 not mounting, chrooting into /dev/sda1, nothing helps. Everytime I try "grub> find /boot/grub/stage1" it says File not found. Yet it exists.

bash-3.2[/mnt/arch]# ls /boot/grub
device.map     iso9660_stage1_5  reiserfs_stage1_5  ufs2_stage1_5
e2fs_stage1_5  jfs_stage1_5      stage1             vstafs_stage1_5
fat_stage1_5   menu.lst          stage2             xfs_stage1_5
ffs_stage1_5   minix_stage1_5    stage2_eltorito

grub> find /boot/grub/stage1

Error 15: File not found

grub> root (hd0,0)

Error 21: Selected disk does not exist

grub>

Any idea how I can fix this o_O im suck on livecd sad
Thanks

Re: [SOLVED] Reinstallation of GRUB

Seems it did something dispite the errors. I mounted /dev/sda1 and check my menu.lst ... for root it had "root DEVICE NOT FOUND" so I changed it to "root (hd0,0)" .. hmm fixed it. All working smile
