No Xserver installed

i don't know what to do
hwd -x doesn't work
i have a LCD monitor, AOpen f2705
i ran xorgconfig, but some there are settings that i don't know how to set
i don't have a video card
xorg and all the libraries necesaries to load X are installed
any idea?
there is not a .xinitrc file in my home
i'post my xorg.conf later, but if someone have a LCD monitor with no video card, i'll thank his xorg.conf to compare with mine
thanks

Re: No Xserver installed

Eh, you have no video card? Care to explain your setup and what hardware you got?

Re: No Xserver installed

try:

hwd -xa

It will likely generate an XFree86Config or somesuch... just rename it xorg.conf and restart X.

That's your log, not your config.

> i have all installed ti run gnome and xorg-server

xorg-server isn't enough, run pacman -S xorg and choose everything.

> i don't know why there is no .xinitrc file on my home

You probably didn't create your user with adduser, so just copy it from /etc/skel/.xinitrc.

Seeing your xorg.conf would help...
It's located at /etc/X11/xorg.conf
