Dell C400 touchpad and track stick together howto.

Hello. I recently ebayed na old dell c400 system. Arch is up and running, but I have some questions. How do I setup the touchpad together with track stick? If I run X without config, then both are handled like ps2mouse. Thats fine, but touchpad is little bit too much sensitive.

If I configure touchpad in xorg.conf the touchpad is running fine, but track stick is not working at all. So My question is: Does it work for you? Could you please post your xorg.conf?

Thank you for your help.

Honestly, on those Latitudes, the track stick is more trouble than it is worth, I had to disconnect mine to keep it from freaking out when I typed.

If you are determined to get both working, setting one of them to SendCoreEvents may help.

Thanks, I use touchpad only.  But when I have hardware, I want to have the option to use it. If I have wet fingers, it is easier to navigate with touch stick. BTW touchstick's buttons are working fine and this confuse me...

The buttons are wired together, so they will always work, even with my touch stick's cable disconnected, they work.
