TV Card Shopping!

Does anyone know what TV cards that are easy to find, (CompUSA, BestBuy, etc.), are supported by drivers already in the kernel?  I replaced my AIW Radeon 8500DV with a geForce FX recently, and I miss having my Gamecube hooked up.  I was thinking about a TV Wonder VE, since it's the cheapest one I've seen, but does it work?

If you develop an ear for sounds that are musical it is like developing an ego. You begin to refuse sounds that are not musical and that way cut yourself off from a good deal of experience.

Re: TV Card Shopping!

Thanks, I took a look at thier site, and like the way the connectors are on their stuff, but I'm not sure about the price.  Then I noticed that WinTV-PVR-350 thing has an FM reciever.  Is that supported?

Re: TV Card Shopping!

Normally any card with an bt848 / bt878 -chipset will work. Just have a look at the bttv-homepage. They are at the moment pretty cheap at ebay...

Re: TV Card Shopping!

Thanks for the help.  I think I'm going with the TV Wonder now, since I'm on a tight budget for the time being.
