I am getting following ksysguard error:
"Error – KDE System Guard Connection to localhost has been lost."
removing ~/.kde/share/config/ksysguardrc
did not help
is there any way to fix this?
Thank you

Same problem here.
Using kdemod/kdemod-kdebase 3.5.8-2

Its the new lm_sensors... The API got changed with 3.0.0 and kdebase does not build because of this:

Seems we have to wait for a patch to make it work again...
BTW: Not everything is a bug, this is just something you have to deal with from time to time when using a rolling release distro
want a modular and tweaked KDE for arch? try kdemod

bug is hmmm...
bug
A problem that causes a program to produce invalid output or to crash (lock up). The problem is either insufficient logic or erroneous logic.
but it does not mean that this was introduced by Arch. Besides, Arch has in my opinion great record in therms of low number of bugs.
I am not complaining.

Its fixed now with kdemod-kdebase 3.5.8-3

thanks for the update.
I don't use kdemode so I went back to the previous version of lm_sensors waiting for the update in kdebase.

Same problem here ... same solution here (for KDE): rolled lm_sensors back to 2.10.5-2, that fixed the problem.

I just got the error. It never stops notifying either. Passing popup window notification #300 now. I assume that means it keeps crashing. LOL.
