linux-phc how to

Hi there!

I just recognized that the linuxphc project changed some stuff. As far as i know before you had to patch the kernel and build a whole new kernel, but now it seems that you just need a patched acpi-cpufreq module. Can anyone tell me how to compile this thingy the fastest way against kernel26?
