The system tray is a standalone app called trayer. And I don't have an applet for the workspaces, it's just plain dzen2 using the DynamyLogWithPP library.
I have basically tweaked a bit this config file.

That's the openlogos font. Character 'B'. Such as my first line

Sure, there you go:
· my xmonad.hs
· my dzen2.sh script (I would love to enable volume control, but there's no way I can find this gdbar despite having installed dzen2 and dzen2-gadgets)
. my .xinitrc

Have fun! smile

Yeah I know that one replaces the other, I was just stressing that I have tried both of them, and I still can't find this gdbar, it says "command not found" hmm

What's your -Ql dzen2-gadgets look like?

Mine:

dzen2-gadgets /usr/bin/dbar
dzen2-gadgets /usr/bin/dzen2
dzen2-gadgets /usr/bin/gcpubar
dzen2-gadgets /usr/bin/gdbar
dzen2-gadgets /usr/bin/textwidth
dzen2-gadgets /usr/share/licenses/dzen2/COPYING

Re: December 2007 Screenshots

I thought it was more like a metapackage, or a rebuild of dzen2, since right after installation it can't find the dzen2-gadgets package:

pacman -Ql dzen2-gadgets
error: package "dzen2-gadgets" not found

Edit
I could have easily edited this post silently, but I prefer to shame myself in public tongue
I have just tried again:

loading package data... done.
checking dependencies...
error: replacing packages with -A and -U is not supported yet
error: please remove 'dzen2' first, using -Rd
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)

that's what it means not reading enough hmm

Well, I'm impressed.  Especially that nice zshell config.  I've never had the heart to fix all my keybindings like that.

Re: December 2007 Screenshots

Here my Winter-Desktop (one of my 7 currently configured ones big_smile).

Its boring, i know- But i wanted it to be as clean as possible:

screenshotwinteray2.th.jpg

i dunno how to make a larger picture atm (using the tools that come with fluxbox).

On the Top i have some basic information: current CPU-state (in MHz), Free HDD-Space on my 2 partitions, Thermal 1 and battery 1 (its a notebook).

This and a few keybindings are all i need smile

Hey that's a nice desktop you got there. I'm currently trying out KDE4 RC2 on openSUSE but I intend to come back to Arch to try out Openbox. I have a low-end system so I might have to stick to Openbox. Could you share some details about this desktop's configuration?
