@MarinvHs: That's a nice setup you have there. Do you mind sharing the wallpaper?
Cheers

Update!
Conky has been completely replaced with dzen. Couldn't be happier with it.
XMonad/dzen/divinorum-green/vim/trayer/mail-notification/pidgin/thunar
Cool! I didn't know dzen could also have a system tray. Xmonad is getting more and more interesting. It's starting to bring up that fusion between calssical WMs and tiling WMs I had been wishing for. I'll check it out again as soon as I have time
It can't That's a very tiny trayer, called with this command:
trayer --edge top --align right --margin 200 --widthtype request --height 14 --distance 0 --padding 0 --transparent true --alpha 100 --tint 1 --SetDockType true &
And then ignored in my xmonad.hs.
What font are you using for dzen, terminus? I'm trying to get the same effect and I'm using clean, but the bar is just a few pixels smaller than trayer's minimum height
Awesome effect though, just what I've been trying to achieve
Edit: Doh! Nevermind, I should have looked closer at the screen, it is terminus
Edit2: Something I forgot to ask; how did you get trayer to be above dzen2? dzen2 always goes over it

You can manipulate dzen's stacking order with the raise and lower actions.
This will start dzen and make it the lowest window in the client stack:
dzen2 -e onstart=lower
You can bind those actions to any event supported by dzen, though onstart might be what you're actually looking for.

what type of script do you have running in the top right? just a custom script or a program?
archlinux - please read this and this — twice — then ask questions.

I found a cool Xmas decoration photo on flickr, and I made it my wallpaper for the rest of the month...
I also went back to xfwm4....no more compiz fusion... and I'm loving how xfwm4 is feeling.
gtk-2.0 is my own mod of the clearlooks Glossy theme.
the xfwm4 is my own mod of kokodi window theme.
the icons are my own mod of UbuntuStudio.

Thayer: how do you get your fonts like this? They look so good. Also I'm curious about your .*shrc...that looks truly awesome.
Hrmm... are you sure you mean me? You quoted jordanmthomas' screenshot: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … 10#p303910
