I've been experiencing a strange error with gvim over the past few weeks. Whenever I open a .php file with gvim (not vim!) I get a bunch of errors before I am able to actually view the file. The errors are all the same and just occur on different lines of usr/share/vim/syntax/php.vim.
E10: \ should be followed by /,? or &I can confirm that this occurs on two computers both running arch linux. Also note that the .php file can even be empty. It just has to end with .php to cause this to happen.
I filed a bug report (http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/8675) but the issue is still unresolved. Just wondering if anybody had dealt with something like this.
