I have Compiz-fusion installed.
If i run as user fusion-icon i get compiz loaded by no window borders, i can then do emerald --replace and they load. Running fusion-icon as root will load fine, How can i get compiz to run properly as user?
Sorry only had arch installed for a week or so and dont know how to be much more help, thanks.

Search ccsm(Compiz settings) for decoration and put emerald --replace in commands.

Try changing the backend see if that helps iirc I had something similar but worked when I changed the backend to flat-file.

Ill reboot in a sec but i can run it as user now and get it all running, change the CHMOD on ~/.config/compiz with -R and try running it.

I've installed Arch and I don't have windows borders with emerald (in gnome), I tried a lot of things (for example, format and install all again) but I can't make it work.
