Pae

Does the standard Arch x86 (32bit) kernel support PAE? If so, how does one enable it? Searching for PAE on the wiki doesn't bring up anything.

If I'm not mistaken, you have to enable HIGHMEM64G in the kernel config in order to use PAE. Default Arch kernel doesn't have that enabled - PAE-enabled kernel wouldn't work on non-PAE-enabled hardware.

I have 4GB memory and I need to see it but 3.5GB like right now.

One way would be to just  grab all required kernel26 files from abs and edit the PKGBUILD to incorporate a 'menuconfig' (or similar) just before the  "# build!" line to be able to select PAE. A simpler way would be to directly select PAE support in the Kernel26 .config and use abs from there.
