a word about arch

i am just satisfied  form arch

the installation is the most important thing
it installs the base system and then whatever you like
without any garbage
the hardware detection is great and i had no any hardware detection problem
the kernel is very fast- i upgraded to the zen - git kernel - even faster
the most beautiful things in the arch are  the pacman , the aur and the abs
the pacman make me feel like in my old debian with the apt-get install but it even better
aur is great also - any unofficial pkg has been found there
the abs is fucking great also any compilation needed is there and makes it faster to search

the distro is very stable and junk-less

just wanted to say thanks to the developers that made me happy and helped me to find my best  distro

Re: a word about arch

We do have rock hard abs around here.
Must be thanks to that chuck norris approved "home gym".

Thanks for the kind words, by the way.

Hmmm, must be a drinker.. because my abs are more like a keg...

welcome to arch, if you're like me, your days of distro hopping might be done.

Re: a word about arch

Gotta agree with the OP, been looking at Arch for a while and yesterday finally dove in, after a few problems (ID10T errors) got Arch running great on my system

Gonna switch my laptop over soon to see how that goes smile

I've got two laptops successfully running Arch.  An old P4 1.8ghz Dell and a new 2.0GHz dual core Dell.  Both work nicely.   Good luck to ya.
