kdemod kopete spell check
I have auto spell check checked in my preferences of kopete but i am not getting spell check on my IMs .
I have aspell installed on my system.
How can I make kopete do sell check.

Do you have the matching language package for aspell installed?
For example aspell-de for german...
want a modular and tweaked KDE for arch? try kdemod

This is an old bug that won't be solved until KDE 4.1 I'm afraid.
The reason why spell check is disabled is because if you use rich text, your messages will get spoiled when there is a spelling problem (the whole message will arrive red to the recipient).
The workaround is to not use rich text and right-click in the message window to enable spell check. Unfortunately you have to do this each time, but there's not other solution for now.
