change GDM mouse theme

I found and installed a nice X11 mouse theme for Gnome but this new theme isn't applied to GDM. What do I need to do to apply this new mouse theme to GDM too? TIA.

Re: change GDM mouse theme

Copy the theme to /usr/share/icons and then create a folder /usr/share/icons/default, finally create a file called index.theme with following contents inside that folder:

[icon theme]
Inherits=neutral

Change the name of the theme to whatever you want to use (I use a theme called "neutral").

Worked like a charm big_smile

Thanks a lot.

Is this documented in a manpage?

No idea.  I've read about this on these forums a while back...
