Kernel Compilation

Hi! ^^

i'm trying to compile for the first time my kernel and i'm tryin to do it with ABS!

but...i've got a problem with the PKGBUILD it's not a critical problem...only i can't set the var _kerver properly!

i was trying to compile the 2.6.24-rc4 but it say that kerver doesn't accept dashes in its value

if i try with 2.6.23.9 (the latest stable) it works great, but...can't i compile any prepatch?

i tried also to set it as _rc4 (or the _extraver var with -rc4 or _rc4) but obviously it say that he can't find a package named kernel-blabla_rc4

any suggestion?

compilation of kernel 2.6.23.9 went fine
