aria 1.0.0

I'm using aria 1.0.0 but it said no libcrypto.0.9.6.so,
I had upgrade openssl to 0.9.7d, so it won't start.
Then I makepkg but have error message:
/usr/sbin/xgettext: Non-ASCII string at src/RetrieveHTTP.cc:725
It seems have nls problem, so I add --disable-nls to makepkg, compile is ok.
When I install the new one and run from terminal,
nothing happened! But the CPU loading is 100%.

Any idea!? Thanks!

Re: aria 1.0.0

It looks like the author has not updated for the newest gcc.  I see many warnings during the compile.  The web page has also not been updated since 2001.

My guess is that it would need quite a bit of work to update to modern systems.  Perhaps you should try and contact the original author to see if he/she still maintains it.

Re: aria 1.0.0

aria 1.0.0 release date Dec 19, 2002, how does it make package with openssl 0.9.6?

I like the feature of aria, and D4X/Getleft/pavuk just not meet my need.
