kdemod and accentued characters [solved]

I've just installed KDEmod (BTW, very nice smile) but I can't write words with accents in KDE/Qt apps (in GTK apps I can). I tried to change the settings of the keyboard in kcontrol to Brazilian abnt, but it didn't work.

Any help, pelase? big_smile

(This is what happens: When I press ~ once, nothing should appear. Then I'd press, for example, a, and I'd have and accentuated a. But when I press ~ once, it already appears on the screen.)

Re: kdemod and accentued characters [solved]

Find the problem.

In my .xprofile I had:
export QT_IM_MODULE='uim'

I just commented it, and everything is fine now.
