Kernel26 in testing

I'm not too sure where to put this as I don't really ever get trouble with newer things, but to the point.

I had the testing repository enabled and kernel26 got updated just now. In doing so it broke ALSA for me and I had to recompile the latest driver. The card is snd-hda-intel.

Re: Kernel26 in testing

Things like this should probably be submitted to the bug tracker where it will get developers attention.  Saying that... http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/8948 smile

Re: Kernel26 in testing

As a general rule, if you decide to use the testing repo, you should be prepared for breakage, and ideally you should be willing to submit bug reports as required. Testing is of no use without appropriate feedback, and bug reports are the only way to be certain of getting through to us.
