Hi!
Recently I have changed my motherboard to an asus m2n-mx se, wich have lan onboard...
My previous motherboard had lan onboard too (asus a7v600-x), and I have used it with dhcp without problems...
But now, I am trying to use dhcp and is not working...
maybe hwdetect is not detecting the onboard land and do not load that module?
I saw this on the wiki "If for some reason dhcpcd eth0 fails, install dhclient (pacman -Sy dhclient) and use 'dhclient eth0' instead."
(but I have no tried it yet)
Any idea?
What can I do?
TIA, and sorry for the bad english

Try a bios update.
I have a gigabte motherboard with GeForce 6100 /nForce 405 chipset and for my solved
virtualization support and problems with ethernet card (10/100 ethernet).

well, its strange... but it is working now
and I have not done anything...
maybe it is a windows logout then linux login issue...
or maybe a hardware/driver issue (I read somewhere in this forum about lan going away after a while, etc...)
