I am experiencing a weird problem with qtconfig. I use xfce and my only qt program is opera. At any rate, when I set up arch I installed polymer, edited qtconfig to match my gtk theme using polymer. Now I ran qtconfig again to fix a few things (white on white = bad) and the setup is all wrong. It doesn't recognise polymer even being installed and the colour theme is back to the basic white and blue. Moreover, when I save this basic theme (which I can edit and it does remember the changes - although it still doesn't recognise polymer being installed), it doesn't get applied to opera. Meaning I can't seem to make any changes to the qt setup that will actually take effect.
What has gone wrong here? and what can I do to change it?

qtconfig on my system was defaulting to qt4 I had to use /opt/qt/bin/qtconfig to start for qt3, may be worth trying.
