mplayer: need a decoder

Hi fellas.

I got mplayer-nvidia from the AUR (not a huge difference though), but it only has three video decoders xv, x11, xvidix
Some .avi's won't play, because they need another decoder (cli seems to need RAW) is there a way of adding these without recompilling/getting another version?

Thanks in advance!

Re: mplayer: need a decoder

Everything you named above are video output drivers and not codecs. If you have an AVI file that won't play through Mplayer and it's not corrupted, either it's something unsupported (very new), or the mplayer-nvidia package didn't compile in all of the available options. What's the output on the command line when you try to play the file?
