after force to the update I try to start the game. I got a black screen. The game didn't work anymore !

Try to remove it completely (perhaps pacman -Rns smc).
Then install it again. You could also consider moving the config file in your home folder (move and not delete, but to the program it is the same thing.)

Thank's for the tip

I removed SMS

pacman -Rs smc

The conflict was given by smc-music

so I tried again

pacman -Rs smc smc-music

This time I removed all. I deleted in the home folder .smc !

Then I Installed smc again. This time with out the conflicts and with out force.

all works fine now!

Problem solved.

Should the smc-music be flagged out of date? At least it's not needed any more since the smc package in extra now include the music files.
