[Solved] pm-suspend from X, trying to resume does _nothing_

Hi,

My thinkpad's not very fond of suspending from X. Both pm-suspend and pm-hibernate work ok from console, as does pm-hibernate when launched from X (xterm etc), but pm-suspend only suspends and there's nothing I can do to wake the thing up. I've read many of those posts with "only a black screen on resume", but my tp's sleep is deeper than just "ma.. 5 more minutes, ok?", it doesn't even mumble anything.. hmm
I'm running my arch on a tp x23 with a Radeon Mobility M6 LY and using the xf86-video-ati (radeon) driver. Any ideas for a fix or a workaround? Oh, when X is running, launching pm-suspend from a console acts the same as from within X, so I have to kill X before suspending, not just turn away from it.

If there's a post I've missed, having good ideas for this one, please hit me with a link!

Sakari

EDIT:
I commented out
"RenderAccel" "off"
which I had put in my xorg.conf when I was testing different options and it seems to work now without a problem.
