I am getting problems with flash. Even with Firefox, flash is very buggy. If I go onto a flash animation, it plays for a while, and then turns grey. In Konqueror I get grey boxes (I am using the latest KDE4 svn version which apparently supports the new flash). I am using nspluginwrapper-flash from the AUR. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Make that Two, Downgrading works for me. I read somewhere that the kde devs aren't to impressed with flash at the moment and are still having trouble with it so hopefully it's sorted out soon.

Flash is EVIL! (TM)
Flash in Linux is responsible for many "bad" user experiences (ala WTF is causing 70% CPU load? ... Another crash, isn't Linux it supposed to be stable?), almost as annoying as missing or bad drivers support from hardware vendors (o.k., exagerating here, this is THE mayor let down with Linux nowadays IMO).

Besides, nspluginviewer constantly crashes with latest flash and kdemod-3.5.8 for me. Fortunately it doesn't take konqueror with it. But if I remember it was immediately known that the new flash version would break things (read that on kde related blog).

I too downgraded because I noticed with the "new" flash my cpu usage is not only higher but also it no longer is smart about cpu usage when you open a new tab or cover the flash video with another x window and so on, where CPU use stays nearly the same even if it's no longering rendering the video but just playing in the background. Reverting to the old version solved my problems thankfully.

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
