Hmm, well I got a new monitor and am getting compiz fusion set up for all the prettyness I got a 24" Widescreen for xmas.
Anywho, I'm hitting a brick wall when trying to load compiz-fuion. Here's the output from fusion-icon:

Nope... i'm just running KDEMOD w/ Kwin.
I can select openbox with the fusion icon... that works fine. But doing compiz produces the results above.

Check this out:

[shane@Arch-Desktop ~]$ compiz --replace

(Kwin works)
Wtf is going on?
Edit: I have simplified my xorg.conf file. I am modifying my original post with the updated info on all commands.

try "killall kwin && compiz" or something of the like. just to see what happens.

*Ahem* I fixed it. This is apparently a stupid thing, but in KContorl i had disabled showing icons on the desktop.
Apparently, Compiz wont work if you do that.
