moneydance installation

Hey.  I just installed Arch on my laptop.  I also installed JRE because Moneydance needs Java to run (pacman -S jre).  I tried to install Moneydance (./moneydance_linux_x86.sh) and I got an error message that says:

Starting Installer ...
No protocol specified
Could not display the GUI. This application needs access to an X Server.
If you have access there is probably an X library missing.
*******************************************************************
You can also run this application in console mode without
access to an X server by passing the argument -c
*******************************************************************
An error occurred:
java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to X11 window server using ':0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable.
Error log: /tmp/install4jError59165.log

I then tried the -c  argument (./moneydance_linux_x86.sh -c) and Moneydance installtion pushed through.  The problem is that it won't start.

I then uninstalled it and tried the Moneydance version with Java (./moneydance_linux_x86wj.sh) but I got the same error message.  I tried the -c argument and got the same result: installed but won't start.

Can anyone help me figure this out?  Thanks.
