password not working

I wiped and reinstalled arch (duke) went through the processes and rebooted. at the login/password it keeps saying that "login incorrect". When going thru the installation process I only remember putting a password in and not a "login". So I really don't know what to put in the first line or how to go in and change anything because when I put the installation disk in I can't find anything on the hard driveto make changes.

Re: password not working

User: root
Password: your secret password

After this logging first thing to do enter command adduser and create one more normal user not root.

Re: password not working

I wiped and reinstalled arch

Seems to me you did a fresh install. So all you have is a core Archlinux system. You have to reinstall xorg and all of the related stuff (drivers, etc...) again.
